Hello friends!

How do you all do? After a gap of two months we are back! I missed you all very much. Actually I didn’t wanted to leave you, but circumstances stood against me. My family and I shifted to India. Then I had my school… exams… uuuh! It was all a fuss! Let’s hope that there come no circumstances between you and me and our friend‘ship’ become bigger and stronger (than the Titanic)—a ship that would never sink…

Well? How did you spend your holidays? Watching T.V, playing video games, cricket, etc.? After a shower of excitement we all are fresh and new. Now new academic year has started and its time to show your intelligence and writing skills in your upcoming papers. Work hard, do right and fear no man. In your case, the proverb has to be hard work is a means to a bright n’ joyful end.

So friends, let me give you some study tips, which my teachers have given me. Believe me, those little tips are easy and they really work! You know, experience is the best teacher! Fine, I’ll come to the topic.

When you sit to study first make the table clean. Keep your school calendar, pencil box, ruler at your side (on the table, of course!). Remember to take a paper and a pencil so that you can jot down the main points. But I’m afraid this method will waste your time if you sit and write the points of all subjects. Then what are you to do, right? I shall tell you. Write the points of only those subjects that you find difficult. Remember, not to write big sentences in the paper. Then there will be no difference between your textbook and your list. And always revise from this list and try to recollect the points and their elaboration. When you understand a point you can expand it in your own words. By this method you are simplifying the difficult topic, the easier your mind finds a subject the faster it comprehends it. Moreover, you will develop a liking towards that subject! But what about Maths? You’ll have to do the difficult/important sums everyday. Then at the time of a test or an exam you just have to go through them!

Studying till late night is not good for health. Our body must get at least 6-8 hours of sleep. Otherwise your mind will be tired and you can’t take up the next day’s portion faster.

You might be getting a lot of “study, study” from your parents and teachers. Don’t think them as nuisance, it’s only the vapours that come from their burning heart to see you on the Pole star. Anyway, friends I’ve also given you a lot of tips. I don’t wish to thrash one more “study” to your eardrum. I have tried them. These are not mere words to add to your distress. ‘Straight is the path, if you will them to’.

Wishing you a best of luck,

Nassya.

Where do you go, where do you stand,

Miles apart from snow to sand,

Have you a home, have you a land,

Have you any family, have you any grand?

Are you free of the chains,

Which bond together men of brains?

Are you free of the trains,

Which entangle itself on the rails?

Do you see the heart that sways,

In misunderstanding, mischief and vains?

Do you see the mind that cries,

To be understood and well and nice?

Will you take those hearts and minds,

Away from chains, away from vains,

To your little land which always shines-

The light of day and the light of nights?

And show’em the beauty of nature’s-

Trees and fruits and flowers and creatures,

The way you live, the way you share,

The way you see those called ‘fair’…

To stretch their brains, to stretch their hearts,

To stretch their eyes beyond the stars…

Will you oh bird.

Give me a word???
